At BookMyStay, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent, providing flexibility while ensuring our property owners are protected. We offer different cancellation options depending on the property and booking type.

Cancellation Rules

Standard Cancellation

If cancelled 1 day before check-in, no fee is charged. Full refund provided.

Non-Refundable Policy

If apartment has no refundable cancellation policy, then 10% would be charged but guest cannot cancel anytime.

Host Custom Policies

Hosts can also add their own cancellation policies in which case whenever guest cancels they would be charged half.

Last-Minute Cancellations

Cancellations within 24 hours of check-in may incur additional charges based on the specific property policy.

Refund Process

  • Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
  • Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Service Fees: Processing fees may apply depending on the cancellation timeframe
  • Partial Refunds: Available for early departures or special circumstances

Special Circumstances

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. In cases of emergencies, natural disasters, or government restrictions, we may offer additional flexibility. Please contact our support team immediately if you need to cancel due to special circumstances.

Emergency Cancellations

For medical emergencies, natural disasters, or government-imposed travel restrictions, we may offer full refunds regardless of the standard cancellation policy.

How to Cancel

  1. Log into your BookMyStay account
  2. Go to "Your Bookings" section
  3. Select the booking you wish to cancel
  4. Click "Cancel Booking" and confirm
  5. You will receive an email confirmation with refund details
